ABOUT

The Penn State Songwriters Club was founded in September 2009 by Brian M. Walker and Maura Westerlund and is currently one of the fastest growing clubs at University Park.

Songwriters Club is one of the only groups at Penn State that promotes the creation and sharing of original music.

We hold many open mics and other events for anyone to come out at be a part of, whether they are playing or just listening and supporting others.

Also, there is a philanthropic aspect to Songwriters. We have hosted many benefit concerts to raise money for THON and will continue this legacy indefinitely.
